Hey I tried Wine on FC5 and Knoppix 5 to do some editing of the winxp registry with regedit. However I did a search for legalnoticetext, which I know is in there and nothing comes up in either OS. However winxp regedit finds the string ok. I had heard that one could edit the registry, at least from Knoppix 5, but apparently it is not possible? Any thoughts?
