This may be totally unrelated, but just in case, here goes ;-)

I have noticed that I can print a document in landscape mode without any 
problem as long as it isn't queued.  I can't understand why, but if I send to 
print while one is still actually printing, it comes out across the middle of 
a portrait page.  It's as though it is dropping part of the print 
instruction.

Now I wait for each one to finish printing before sending another one.  I work 
on other things while waiting for it.
