Hi all,
I was looking for a tool to manage my LVM, ext3 and FAT partitions and I
stumbled upon EVMS (Enterprise Volume Management System). It appears to
be quite a versatile tool in partition management and I would like to
give it a go.
Alas, it appears for EVMS a kernel patch is necessary.
What I was wondering about is: does anyone have an idea whether patching
the FC5 kernel and adapting it to use EVMS has any consequences?
Has anyone performed this alteration? If so, how did you fare?
Guus.
