I have tried FC5 x86. I actually did get FC4 to install, but it has many problems. It does not detect acpi, southbridge, or any pci slots. Also, the IDE Controller is only running in PIO mode instead of Ultra DMA. The install took over 2 hours. I have done some research on this and found that there is a problem with both FC4 and FC5 using the Via 8251 southbridge chip. Via's site is currently down so I cannot look there for a driver. Does anyone have any experience getting the 8251 southbridge to work on either FC4 or 5 i386?
