Try un-commenting (removing the "#") from the "baseurl" line.
http://ayo.freshrpms.net/fedora/linux/5/mirrors-freshrpms is a valid
list of mirrors, so I don't see anything wrong either, as long as
$releasever and $basearch are correct.
