I have, query can any one please Help me ?
I have written an module for 2.6.14.4. On Fedora 4. It just works fine.
I have another machine running SUSE10.0, with 2.6.14.4 kernel [Same as Fedora Machine].
Here, iam unable to insert the module into the kernel, Which is complied in Fedora Machine. ?
What might be the reason.. ?
Under SUSE10.0
dmesg says: "Undefined Symbol struct_module"
insmod error message: " -1 invalid module format"
Size of .ko file: in Fedora machine it is 8K and in Suse[recomplied for verification] it is round abt 2K
The module compiled on Suse 10.0 will insert normally.
But module compiled on diff machine is not inserting..
Can U plz tell me the reason for this Strange behaviour.. ?
