additional software install from CD

How do you install additional software from 
the CDs after a Fedora 5 install, on a machine
with no network connection?

Both Add/Remove Software, and Software
Updater pop up a Yum window error that 
says it can't get a file list (or something 
similar, forgot to write it down.)
