Low torrent speed can have one or both of these causes: - incoming TCP ports 6881-6999 are blocked on your system - you do not wait long enough (bittorrent usually starts slow but then picks up speed) Bittorrent is always faster for me on Fedora release days, even faster than one of the big Fedora mirrors which is essentially in my neighborhood and which normally can saturate a 10 Mbit line for me and can even take up most of the bandwidth on a 100 Mbit line when I'm downloading updates from it - but when Fedora is released, it gets much slower. -- Florin Andrei http://florin.myip.org/
