and because of the timer in the installer, this message repeats about
every minute. So, What am I left to do? I know its not the media or

well, jim, there have been a few reports at fedoraforum.org of users
having this issue with notebooks, which isn't a good sign. but why
don't you wait to tell us about it until tomorrow afternoon, when fc5 is
officially released?
