Since he is using MSDOS, the traffic on the network is in plain text
hence not  encrypted..so I think he is just fine.
However depending on the version of windows you have to tell samba
which type of encryption you would like to use.
In this case when I find that I have various version of windows on the
network I unencrypt the traffic
But is there a better way of doing this than editing the registry...
