Build a spec file and you should run the command from the specs directory.
becuase it looks for directories like BUILD etc

The "--rebuild" opti! on to rpmbuild is for building from src.rpm files;
to build from a spec file, you'd use "-bb" or "-ba" instead. Otherwise,
you're specifying the same set of defines that failed for the OP
earlier, so this isn't likely to help.
