Yes,

DSsmtp.host.com:587

in sendmail.cf does not let the Sendmail daemon contact the smart host
on port 587. With other words: the ":" is no valid separator for host
and port. IIRC you can list more than 1 smart host server this way (at
least in mailertable you separate multiple targets by ":").
