I don't see this happening on my stable systems. There is a major problem going on, anyone got some hints or ideas?


Definitely strange. Don't see how this could be hardware related.

I think I'd try running rkhunter. Do you have tripwire installed?

Isn't the file.msi a microsoft installer file? Is it possible that you are getting problems in through the windows world?
