smartctl on FC4 broken for 3ware 9xxx (13c1:1002) RAID cards?

Hi,

I installed a FC4 box, and tried to use smartctl to
show disk parameters on SATA drives, or SATA drives
connected through 3Ware RAID5 card, but neither works,
my smartctl version is 5.33. my kernel is
2.6.15-1.1831_FC4smp. I added two "-T permissive" but
still no luck.

Any suggestion are greatly appreciated. Thanks.
