OK, try what I suggested last time and if it works, put:

PEERDNS=no

in /etc/sysconfig/network to prevent /etc/resolv.conf getting
overwritten on reboot.

foy your info, this is my network file on the working machine

NETWORKING=yes
HOSTNAME=Casa

I can't tell anything about the office' machine because is twenty km west of here!!!! ;-)
