I have usb 2.0 disk with vfat on it. I'm unable to create symbolic links or change permissions, such as chmod 777. I'm guessing its because it's vfat, but wanted to make sure before I go to the trouble of moving the data and reformatting the drive to ext2 or ext3. Can anyone verify that vfat is the problem?
