Hello all, may anyone can help me ? I'm not able to boot with the SMP Kernel 2.6.11-1.1369_FC4smp of Fedora Core 4 on my System (AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 3800+). The boot hungs at - kernel: SELinux: initialized (dev rootfs, type rootfs), uses genfs_contexts The single CPU kernel boots and finds both CPU's: -Processor #0 15:11 APIC version 16 -ACPI: LAPIC (acpi_id[0x01] lapic_id[0x01] enabled) -Processor #1 15:11 APIC version 16 -WARNING: NR_CPUS limit of 1 reached. Processor ignored. Any idea ? Any kernel parameter I need for SMP ? Regards, Bernhard
