I used system-config-printer to configure the printers and the "http: //localhost:631" only to check if the printers were as I wanted. The only problem with the printers is, that I have to channge the paper size from letter to A4: after every reboot, every application, every printer.... I would really prefer, if the applications were able to have a look at the system-config-printer defaults (or the http://localhost:631 - cups-defaults) and use those. I do not like to use bad language, but Windows (sorry, sorry...) has solved that problem, why not Linux? So, how to fix it?
