These are quite minor points compared to some of the problems with the kernel people have reported, but here they are anyway: After installing the new kernel, my sound only came through one channel. Running system-config-soundcard fixed it, but is this a known issue? Also, this kernel doesn't appear to support the "quiet" boot option, so I see all the kernel messages after GRUB.
