Hi, I am trying to boot my system in ASCII mode, no X11, to install the nVidia driver, but I am not able to do it. In the past, I changed the initdefault number from 5 to 3 in /etc/inittab, but it is not working anymore, it reboots with X11. I have also tried with "telinit 3" unsuccessfully.
