I updated module-init-tools and in the process found that the update also fixed a problem my ATI Radeon 7200 graphics card was having with the last two releases of xorg-x11. Now I can use xorg-x11-6.8.2-37.FC4.49.2 and its ancillary packages. No more exclusions when updating with yum!
