With the nightmare I went through getting FC3 installed and the reported problems installing FC4 seeming trivial in comparison, I have not wanted to chance it. I have tried FC5t2 and it is a little fussy but I was able to get it to install. I also intend on moving straight from FC3 to FC5. I have great hopes for FC5 and appreciate the hard work done by the developers.
