I didn't really understand what you meant by this.
FreeBSD is distributed, not under the GPL license. GPL
conforms to Richard Stallman's idea about what software
should be, and if you use it, then it has a tendency to
invade your own software, like an infection. (You understand

the same tendency for spreading into other people's works.
