How can I find out chipset?
Is there any website that have list chipset for different model?
Thanks,
If you read your product manual carefully, you'll see a reference to
Atheros 5001x. That is probably the chipset. You can also get all the
chipset details by querying the FCC database. Look on the device label
for the FCC ID and then visit the FCC website.
Presumably you still have Windows installed.
Control panel/system and dig around.
Or, after inserting the card with Linux running,
dmesg | tail -50
and likely there will be messages indicating what it is.
Another way is to inspect the Windows drivers for your card: look at the
.inf file (this works even before you buy, just download the drivers).
