I have seen this issue posted in the VIA forums but I am wondering if
anyone else has had any success with:

(1) Attempting a kernel patch for the controller.
(2) Using AHCI options to get FC4 to recognize SATA drives.

Help! I have 20Us worth of servers that are at a standstill!
