In short, static routes can be added in many ways. For complex multi-route solutions, routes can be added by using the /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/route-<interfacename> file using: ADDRESSn=<network address> NETMASKn=<network mask> GATEWAYn=<gateway IP address> The "n" can be any integer number, but is expected to be monotonically increasing and counting starts from 0.
