USB devices are not working in VMWare

Hi

I'm trying to solve the mysterious problem at USB devices in VMWare.

USB devices were working with some kernel (I do not remember what kernel
version it was) but not anymore. Why?

I'm using Fedora Core 4 with newiest kernel 2.6.14-1.1656_FC4.
When I try to connect to USB device, VMWare shows an error message

---
The specified device appears to be claimed by another driver
(snd-usb-audio) on the host operating system which means that the device
may be in use. VMware Workstation cannot safely take control of the
device until the host driver is unloaded.
---

How do I have to proceed at this point?
