I've installed and updated Eclipse and the related stuff as part of a "full install" of FC4 x86_64. No Sun JDK / JRE are installed on the machine.
Eclipse dont start: it close in JVM runtime error -1 at the (nice-custom) splash screen.
If you instruct me on what info collect, I post to this list or to bugzilla tomorrow.
I've used Eclipse under FC3 x86_64, not so extensively.

:( I really don't think that it's impossible for you to get this
running. I have personally run it on x86_64 systems and had no
problems. Again, let's track this through bugzilla.
