In the plugins folder you need a syslink to java. Assuming that you
have the latest Java:

# ln -s /opt/jre1.5.0_06/plugin/i386/ns7/libjavaplugin_oji.so
/home/<user>/.mozilla/plugins/libjavaplugin_oji.so
