Yes and No.
Dual Boot your system to be sure. If it works, you are
lucky, if not, you've not lost anything.
Judging from your question you are totally new to *nix,
which is why I said Yes and No.
Yes it can do all you ask but it might need some *nix
knowledge so it won't be a pain free exercise for you.
The No is because it is 'not as easy' as say non- *nix
platforms and you don't seem to have any experience of them.
And if you want all the features you are asking for, then
perhaps you should stick with XP and spend some time learning *nix
first.
