They are not your only choices! Don't forget that. Personally I tend to prefer the appearance of the Gnome apps, but that may be because I've managed to do a little hacking in the .gtkrc, and haven't got anywhere with KDE theming (and haven't had any incentive, either). I have learnt to hate to performance failings of the new Gnome save-file dialogues.
