After sending my last message, I realized I might have already installed wine for my account. I had a .wine folder with all the right stuff in it, but when I tried to run winefile, I got this error message. wine: '/tmp/.wine-500/server-302-1b82be/socket' is not owned by you So at this point, I can't run the wine I have nor update it.
