Hi,

When I try and upgrade a particular package, shadow-utils-4.0.3-56.x86_64, rpm starts to chew at the machine eventually exhausting my RAM and swap. Has anyone else seen such a problem? Details are:

[root@localhost packages]# cat /etc/redhat-release
Fedora Core release 3 (Heidelberg)
[root@localhost packages]#

[root@localhost packages]# rpm -Uvh --test -vv shadow-utils-4.0.3-56.x86_64.rpm

D: computing 281 file fingerprints

D:  read h#      14 Header V3 DSA signature: OK, key ID 4f2a6fd2

and that's pretty much where it sits until I kill the process.

Any help would be appreciated,
Mark
