The admins might be able to loop over the mailing list recipients and
send a message with a slightly different envelope and header From-line
to each of them.  They could then wait for the eventual
bounces/challenges, look at the To-line and decode who they sent that
to.

This has been proposed more than once here; apparently this is
not something the list manager(s) is(are) willing to do.
