Also tried export gcc=gcc32. > runInstaller -ignoreSysPrereqs I tried ignoring the checks in the first place, before I posted the problem here, but that install had many gcc related errors at the end of the install, and it warned me that the db was not installed correctly, and I couldn't bring it up. Hence I decided to install only after the installer is happy with all prerequisites. Thanks again; -nat ps.
