Bearing in mind what you've already been told, I wonder if it's feasible
to find a bootfloppy that chainloads the CD-ROM?  i.e. The bootfloppy
boots from the CD-ROM, instead of the BIOS.

Otherwise, possibly the simplest solution is to install on another PC,
then move the hard drive over.
