I'm sorry that it took an hour for a "yum provides", but do you have a lot of repos enabled? In cases where you think it might be something rather fundamental, like gdb, yet "yum list" and "yum search" don't find it, you might do the "yum provides" with only the Fedora repos enabled. (And www.livna.org certainly could use some explanation, as well as de-uglifying.
