Hi all,

I have been experiencing some problems with my RAID1 configuration. I am using two 160GB Seagate drives that have been configured identically ie

/dev/sda1 * 1 51 409626 fd Linux raid autodetect /dev/sda2 52 5788 46082452+ fd Linux raid autodetect /dev/sda3 5789 7700 15358140 fd Linux raid autodetect
/dev/sda4 7701 19457 94438102+ 5 Extended
/dev/sda5 7701 9612 15358108+ fd Linux raid autodetect /dev/sda6 9613 10887 10241406 fd Linux raid autodetect /dev/sda7 10888 12162 10241406 fd Linux raid autodetect /dev/sda8 12163 13437 10241406 fd Linux raid autodetect /dev/sda9 13438 14712 10241406 fd Linux raid autodetect /dev/sda10 14713 15732 8193118+ fd Linux raid autodetect /dev/sda11 15733 16752 8193118+ fd Linux raid autodetect /dev/sda12 16753 17772 8193118+ fd Linux raid autodetect /dev/sda13 17773 18537 6144831 fd Linux raid autodetect /dev/sda14 18538 19174 5116671 fd Linux raid autodetect
/dev/sda15 19175 19429 2048256 82 Linux swap / Solaris

/dev/sba has the same partions.

/proc/mdstat reveals that the Raid Array has lost the sda drive, this had occured earlier but only dropped part of the sda drive not all. I was able to add the drive back by using mdadm... but 2 days later this has happened again. Has anyone else had this problem? or is able to guide to further diagnosing my situation.
