This works faultlessly.

There is a minor issue that /var/spool/up2date/ simply grows and grows
with every new available update, even when existing *rpm or *hdr are
superseded. I guess there is a *info file somewhere that a user could
wget which would describe the necessary subset of /var/spool/up2date.

1. Can anybody tell me where to find this file, please?

2. Can somebody with control over this issue be invited to so contrive
things that the current *info is downloaded to /var/spool/up2date/
every time any new updates become available? Just for ease, that's all.
