This was what happened to me when I installed > the official (not the FC4) version of OOo 2.0. That is a clue... My OOo-1.9.125 was from the cooker. Anyway, it turns out that after I download the latest OOo-2.0 from updates-release, now it has oobase. I'm very happy.
