So I see it's not just me.
I tried the various suggestions in there, but none of them work for me.
So I guess I either get sound or smp. That sucks.

In gnome click on Desktop, Preferences, then sound uncheck the enable
sound sever startup. I think that is what solved my problem. Now if I
can just stop my desktop from becoming corrupted. every time I boot into
fedora.
