Alas It doesn't work: (1) After boot, an alert window tell: UNABLE TO CONTROL PROCESSOR FREQUENCY of course, if acpi, is disabled (2) The final shutdown message, usually "acpi_power_off called" is replaced by; "Power down" and the Power is still on util I press the pwr on button for >5 sec.
