This may > not be happeneing in linux browsers. ---- for the record - web serving originated with Unix systems and the html tags of <P> and <BR> were the only method of breaking paragraphs/lines and thus, it was the original standard to have text flow to the limits of the window and not an artificial line wrap. Only word processors that try to conform to a printed page with margins insert artificial line feeds/carriage returns or both. Similarly, a real text editor would not insert these artificial line wraps onto the clip board when the text is selected and copied so the OP should consider this to be the intended behavior. Craig
