That's funny... it happens sometimes to me that writing a mail about an issue that bugs me for *hours* or even *days* helps me to find a solution within seconds. ;-) I couple of minutes after I sent my mail I realized that I didn't try yet to remove the old versions of cman-kernel, dlm-kernel, GFS-kernel and gnbd-kernel. Okay, give it a try, and say what? *Now* the old kernel 2.6.11 could be removed without dependency issues. Great! Yeah, problem solved. That looks like a really good start into the new week. ;-) Sorry for disturbing you, folks. But just for curiousity: Why are the cman/dlm/GFS/gnbd packages still for kernel 2.6.11? Don't they need an update to be usable with kernel 2.6.12? (Sorry if this is a stupid question... the last time I used custom kernel modules was around kernel 1.x series. ;-) Greetings, Andreas
