CD drive is first boot device.

Once fc2 boots - the contents of the cd are visable.

   I can think of only these:

1) The .iso file you burned, did it contain the letters SRPMS? If so you have burned the source files, which will not install, but must be compiled

2) When you burned the file to CD did you "burn as image"? If you didn't, the files you see when you browse the contents of the CD you would only see 1 file (the name of the .iso you burned).

Did you perform a sha1sum on the .iso before you burned it? - Could be a bad image. Did you run media check to determine if the disk is valid?
