my box has fc2 on it.

the install disk spins up, but the install process doesn't start... grum
just comes up and it boots as usuall...

CD drive is first boot device.

Once fc2 boots - the contents of the cd are visable.

ideas?

Thanks!

Is your CDRom drive master or slave? I thought it has to be master on the
IDE-channel to be able to start from it...

Also, have you enabled the option in the BIOS?
