Howdy all:

Has been a while since my last. Busy with all that is working here since y'alls help; thanks.

Have made a few changes to my network and need to make some adjustments t firewall.

Wife's iMac now wireless. My Power Mac now part of a gigabit switch network (192.168.1::

2x RedHat EL3 (192.168.1.4, 192.168.1.5) srvr01, srvr02
1x Apple Power Mac (192.168.1.3) g5
1x Fedora 4 (192.168.1.1) firewall (192.168.0.100) to wireless switch (192.168.0.1)
1x P4 (192.168.1.2) render

Large video files transported on this closed network forced the changes, but..

Wife and I were sharing on network 192.168.0; before I put G5 behind firewall. I need to open printer and file sharing ports in firewall. firewall routes to the internet et al, but unable to get my own two networks connected. I connect my G5 to the wired side of our wireless switch, iMac
and G5 can see and share. Good to know my firewall is working.

From what I have been able to find Printing/Faxing are on port 631 (IPP). While Personal File
Sharing is on Port 548 (AFP).

Looks like all I need is to open a two-way hole for each port in firewall. I should be able to get the rules in and saved, but again it's been long enough that building each rule line escapes me.

Thanks,
GregS <><
