Very useful once you've got the hang of it, although it's Middle click to "auto-paste" is a great feature of Linux. Yeah, it makes sense, but I don't like the way it masks the other features. I usually just hit Ctrl+T to bring up a new tab that has a blank address bar, though. So, it's not very useful to me, which I guess is why it is an option :). Too bad the myriad of about:config options aren't better documented or more readily available.
