When running Fedora Core 3, I followed advice found here to run the SMP option when booting Linux due to my 3.0 GHz Pentium 4 having Hyper Threading. No problem. Now that I've installed Fedora Core 4 (clean install), when I try to run the SMP option, it says that there's a BIOS error and that no processors are registered. Do I need to flash my BIOS or change my configuration somewhere? It still runs, but without SMP support (and, presumably, without taking advantage of Hyper Threading). Any ideas? -- Chris Gramer cgramer@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
