Adobe has a plugin for Firefox. 

cd /usr/local/Adobe/Acrobat7.0/Browser
./install_browser_plugin

If you get confused check
out: /usr/local/Adobe/Acrobat7.0/Browser/Browser_Plugin_HowTo.txt
